How Women can take Authority over the Narrative of their Lives

The invention of the printing press changed the world.  With the ability to quickly print and spread information new voices and ideas emerged in society.  Controversy soon followed when printed translations of the Bible were placed into the hands of ordinary people.  Direct access to the Bible meant that people were no longer subject to the interpretations of priests, but anyone could read the Bible for themselves and make their own decision about what they read.  In addition to making their own decisions, new thought leaders could put forward their own ideas and put them into print as well.

The ability of women to publish their own stories represents their power to take authority over the narrative of their lives.  At the Fall of Man when Adam controlled the narrative, he blamed Eve for all of his shortcomings.  When women take back their authority and tell their own stories they can make their own decisions about what they have read and act on it.  Jeremiah 31: 22…for the LORD hath created a new thing in the earth, A woman shall compass a man.

…for the LORD hath created a new thing in the earth, A woman shall compass a man.

Jeremiah 31: 22
